Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy

Please review these Terms of Service governing the use of TelTalker cloud telephony, virtual numbers, inbound priority routing engines, and carrier interconnect gateways.

Effective Date: October 14, 2026•Agreement Version: 3.2.0
SLA 99.999%TCPA Shield
Zero Tolerance for Fraud & Robocall Non-Compliance

All accounts must strictly adhere to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), TRACED Act, STIR/SHAKEN caller identity mandates, and Ofcom/IMDA anti-scam regulations. Unauthorized automated dialers, false CLI spoofing, and deceptive call traffic result in immediate termination without refund.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Account Eligibility

By registering an account on TelTalker, ordering inbound numbers, or connecting SIP trunks to our platform, you represent and warrant that you are an authorized representative of a legally registered commercial enterprise with authority to enter into binding telecom agreements.

Account activation is strictly contingent upon successful completion and verification of Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation as mandated by national telecommunications regulators.

2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use TelTalker communications services solely for legitimate commercial customer service, enterprise inbound support, reservation lines, and lawful business communications. You explicitly agree NOT to:

  • Transmit harassing, fraudulent, abusive, obscene, or threatening communications.
  • Inject forged or deceptive Caller ID (ANI) numbers without verified ownership or carrier authorization.
  • Operate high-volume predictive dialers that result in excessive short-duration dead calls (under 6 seconds).
  • Engage in traffic pumping, artificial inflation of traffic (AIT), or unauthorized telecom arbitrage.
  • Attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the TelTalker SIP signaling proxy or FreeSWITCH media engines.

3. Inbound Numbers & Carrier Provisioning

Inbound DID Numbers provided through TelTalker are leased to tenants on a monthly recurring basis through our carrier partner networks (including Twilio and Tier-1 PSTN carriers).

  • Ownership: Tenants hold the exclusive right of use during the active term of the paid subscription.
  • Porting: Numbers in good financial standing may be ported out upon written request, subject to standard carrier porting processing windows.
  • Reclamation: If an account remains unpaid for greater than 14 days, allocated numbers are released back to carrier inventory pools and cannot be guaranteed for recovery.

4. Rates, Billing & Invoicing

Billing is calculated based on monthly recurring number rental fees and per-minute usage for inbound calls and forwarded PSTN termination:

• Call Duration Rounding: Inbound call durations are metered on a standard per-second basis with a 6-second initial minimum billing increment.
• Prepaid Wallet Balance: Accounts operate on a prepaid wallet model. Call diversion automatically halts if wallet balance reaches zero.
• Taxes & Regulatory Fees: Applicable federal, state, and universal service fund (USF) fees are itemized transparently on monthly invoices.

5. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

TelTalker guarantees 99.999% Service Availability for core SIP signaling proxies and media diversion switches across our global Points of Presence (PoPs), calculated over any given calendar month.

SLA exclusions include scheduled maintenance windows announced at least 48 hours in advance, upstream localized fiber cuts on destination PSTN carrier networks, and force majeure events.

6. Governing Law & Legal Notices

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware (for US operations) and the Republic of Singapore (for APAC operations), without regard to conflict of law principles.
